Job Summary :
This position will be a central point of contact between the various functions within Oral Care, related to NPI, trouble shooting, and general technical support.
Responsible to perform detailed log file analysis; script/tool development and documentation; Lead international support teams, training, and complex issue resolution; L3 technical support for local and global teams; liaison between support team and Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Manufacturing.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Work with Development teams on VOC, design-for-support input, feature prioritization, code analysis, and development input
- Participate on cross-functional teams, coordinate and communicate with Project Managers, Product Analysts, Quality Analysts, and other Software Engineers
- Must be comfortable in fast paced environment with challenging deadlines, and be able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Minimum three (3) years of software development experience with both system and application levels
Preferred Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Software Engineering Skills:
- Three (3)+ years of software experience with Linux platform
- One (1)+ years of experience with relational database development (i.e. Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
- Python programming and Bash shell scripting
- Familiarity with ssh, public/private key security, ftp, VPN, django
- Solid understanding of multi-tier application design and development
- Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) is a major plus
Team/Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects with frequent interruptions
- Ability to interface at high levels of complexity with customers
- Maintain cool under fire
- Explain technical issues at all comprehension levels
- Patience
- Advanced analytic capabilities
- Ability to take individual initiative and responsibility for assignments
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new tools and technology

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic travel
