About this job

Purpose of Role: Manage the application of permits, preparation and execution of job orders, procurement of materials, processing of material invoices, tracking of materials, and preparation and submittal of close-out packets. Maintain and monitor project files for accuracy and completeness. Support the planning, estimating, scheduling, risk analysis, agreements for land, engineering services, pipeline interconnects and reimbursements, assist with the preparation of bid packets and contractor selection

Job Details:
-Collaboration between project specialists, project managers and contract construction inspectors
-All internal/external customer responsive construction support
-Assist in completing construction projects which meet customer expectations and budget requirements
-Relationships with external municipalities and local authorities
-Timely and accurate invoice payments
-Effective team relationships throughout field and State staff functions
-Monitor and communicate progress of projects
-Ensures timely and accurate invoice payments
- Monitors appropriate contractor qualifications and certifications and ensures proper documentation
-Assists in establishing and monitoring contractor performance metrics
-Collaborates with peers to ensure operating standards and construction practices comply with policies and procedures
- Ensures the implementation/tracking of major construction projects, material acquisition, material design, project design and construction management including adherence to designs and permits such as construction, environmental, etc.
-Maintains relationships with fabricators, equipment vendors and manufactures, evaluate equipment and material costs to insure value
-Creates, monitors and executes capital job orders related to large capital projects
- Procures and monitors materials based on project schedule and availability
- Assembles and processes all project close-out materials
