Description

The Warehouse Night Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers in an efficient manner that involves the picking, building and loading of route trucks , both bulk and sidebay delivery.

Position Shift and Schedule

This is permanent full time position working on our 2nd shift. Our 2nd shift typically begins at 2:30pm and works until finished, Monday through Friday. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends is required based on business needs.

Position Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the nightly loading process.
  2. Ensure proper execution and implementation of all policies procedures with regard to picking, packing, shipping, receiving, cleanliness, safety and inventory management.
  3. Train and evaluate loading staff on effective techniques and full understanding of the Voice Pick process.
  4. Assist in nightly loading process as needed to achieve maximum efficiencies.
  5. Schedule and manage warehouse team members within labor and budget while meeting the demands of the facility.
  6. Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies, and procedures of the Company and standards established by Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
  7. Ensure all equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, walkie riders and fleet trucks, is properly maintained and inspection practices are followed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • One year of demonstrated leadership experience in warehouse/distribution center operations
