About the position
The RN Mobile Pool is designed to serve as an internal float pool within the hospital. Placement will be determined by the Staffing Office. The Registered Nurse provides self-directed, effective nursing care to groups of patients and other duties as assigned in accordance with Division of Nursing standards and pursuant to Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Chapter 464.003 (3) (a).

Current Florida RN license or ability to obtain reciprocity from another state
Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), valid AHA Advanced Life Support (ACLS) and NIH certification (ACLS and NIH required only for Critical Care areas)
Minimum 3 years recent acute care RN experience required for Med/Surg and Labor/Delivery pool; 3 years recent RN experience required for Step Down, Critical Care and ED pool; minimum 3 years acute care Operating Room experience for OR.
Electronic Medical Record experience required - assessment, documentation, order entry
Proficient in interpreting EKG's and the ability to successfully pass a written EKG exam
Must be willing to float within the hospital as directed by the Staffing Office
