Position : Analyst, Global Logistics (Frieght)
Department : Global Transportation
FLSA Status : Exempt
Location : 3880 N Mission Los Angeles, CA 90031
Department Summary :
Forever 21 is seeking an innovative, energetic, and passionate team player to add to our dynamic Global Transportation team.
Job Purpose :
The Global Logistics Analyst is responsible for arranging all international non-merchandise shipments with freight forwarders and overseeing the supply shipments from our distribution centers.
Deliverables :
Maintain the integrity of shipping reports by properly tracking and logging freight movement at each individual checkpoint; assisting with challenges with customs for shipments.
Conduct analysis of freight, assessing existing processes to determine how the company can reduce costs or drive profit in its transport of goods; assess costs of transportation, and freight being sent to stores, etc.
Prepare ad hoc reporting as assigned by supervisors
Familiar with customs requirements in Dominican Republics, China, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Brazil, Latin America and Israel.
Job Requirements :
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications :
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Business or any analytical discipline
Must have at least 2 years of experience in international logistics, transportation, or supply chain management
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, specifically in array formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, etc.
Must have a strong understanding of logistics processes and cycles
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate resolution of issues
