This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper. Join the team of Holly Hill Hospital, a growing, private, psychiatric facility that has provided over 35 years' worth of service to the community. Based in Raleigh, NC, Holly Hill Hospital is perfectly located in a rapidly growing family-oriented community that is just hours from the mountains and the beaches and is a surrounded by major universities. We are passionate about excellent quality care in the treatment and recovery of adults and adolescents with psychiatric and/or chemical dependency illnesses.
We continue to grow and expand our services to meet the demands of the community for inpatient psychiatric beds. We are excited with the opening of our Children's Hospital, the first of its kind in the state and will be a center of excellence for child and adolescent mental health treatment.
We currently have an immediate need for a Per Diem (as needed) Housekeeper.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Maintains the cleanliness of all services and hospital areas. Performs a variety of environmental services duties to maintain the hospital in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition for patients, staff, and visitors.
Education/Training:
High school degree or equivalency.
Experience:
One year experience in housekeeping duties preferably in a hospital or other institutional setting.
Licensure/Certification:
None
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of sanitation and disinfection process and techniques.
Ability to use equipments such as vacuum cleaner, steamer, trash compactor, carpet extractor, buffer and burnisher machine.
Knowledge of waste disposal and recycling procedure.
Knowledge of safe and appropriate Hazardous/Chemical Material Handling Procedures.
Knowledge of universal precautions and Safety and Infection Control in Housekeeping Services.
Salary Range: 8.10-10.12 (based on experience)
