SHIFT: 8HOUR, Day EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time HRS PER PAY PERIOD: 80 JOB ID: 1600000495
In keeping with the Pacific Central Coast Health Center's philosophy,under the direction and supervision of the
Operational and/or Medical Director, the medical assistant will assist licensed medical staff in the preparation of patients
for delivery of services utilizing basic administrative clerical and technical skills.
Minimum Requirements:
One - three years experience working in a clinic setting or physician office.
BLS required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience preferred in area of clinic speciality.
Experience also preferred in working with low-income and Spanish-speaking persons.
Phlebotomy certiifcation preferred.
Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
Special Skills:
Ability to move quickly from one task to another independently.
Ability to communicate effectively with peers, staff and supervisor.
Ability to take instructions, comprehend and follow through effectively.
Good verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to read, write, comprehend and follow written and oral instructions in English Will have direct patient contact.
Computer literate with the ability to type accurately at a moderate pace.
Ability to ensure that diagnosis correlates with the procedure/exam requested.
