Registered Nurse Advanced Wound Care Center FT Days

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process. Assists with the implementation of plan of care. Provides acute and rehabilitative care for people with select disorders of the GI, GU and integumentary systems. Provides direct patient care to persons with abdominal stomas, wounds, drains, fistulas, wounds and incontinence. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Demonstrates an ability to respond to and provide direction to a changing workload in a positive and professional manner. Promotes a harmonious work environment. Demonstrates compliance to the LRMC Service Excellence Standards of Performance at all times. Current RN license valid in the State of Texas

Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS

Current ACLS or must obtain within 9 months of hire or transfer via this facility's program

Minimum of 2 years experience, wound care experience preferred
