The Norwood office of Home Instead Senior Care is seeking a Weekend On-Call Service Supervisor. This individual must be available for weekend on-call supervision, answering all calls and overseeing client schedule management to provide the highest quality service to clients.
The Weekend On-Call Service Supervisor will work closely with the Staffing Coordinators in the following way:
--Arrive at the Home Instead Senior Care office by 1pm-3pm Friday afternoon to make calls and pickup on-call phone/laptop
--Go over weekend schedule and any trouble spots that might arise with staffing coordinators
--Prepare on-call binder with all schedules and Client and CAREGiver rosters
--Transfer office calls to on-call cellphone
--Return to Home Instead Senior Care office Monday morning by 9am-10am to pass on pertinent information from the weekend, turn in cell phone/laptop and drop off on-call binder.
During the weekend, supervisor's responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
--Answering all incoming telephone calls and responding to them as needed
--Communicate with CAREGivers and clients regarding scheduling as changes arise
--Take messages and document all calls so office staff can respond if necessary Monday morning
--Contact backup person when questions arise about clients or CAREGivers that require input from regular office staff
--MUST Fill in on assignments that come open until a replacement CAREGiver is found
--BE AVAILABLE for Monday AM shifts if CAREGiver calls out
Candidate needs to have excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
CNA experience preferred. Also ideal for retired nurses looking for part-time work.
Compensation: $150 per weekend
