Job Summary: The Retail Sales and Service Advisor is responsibly for providing sales/service in professional, courteous and efficient manner to Members through inbound phone calls and attempts to convert Member inquiries to sales and recommends/sells related add-on and/or promotional merchandise and services to increase profitable revenue.
*Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements
Job Duties/Responsibilities: * Greets callers in a timely, pleasant and professional manner * Determines member's needs and looks up delivery, product information and inventory availability using multiple applications and systems * Offers to order product for Members and places the order through Sears database * Recommends and sells Protection Agreements, Installations, add-ons, and promotional products/services * Attempts to convert inquiries to sales and recommends related add-on and/or promotional merchandise and services to increase profitable revenue * Answers Member inquires, and if applicable, connects the Member to appropriate department to provide the best resolution for the Member's needs * Performs other duties as assigned Required Skills: * Sales skills * Customer service skills * Keyboarding proficiency * Strong verbal, communication and listening skills * Skill in and knowledge of using a computer, navigation skills and the Internet * Ability to look up information from various databases quickly * Ability to work professionally in stressful situations * Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously * Frequent sitting (4-7.5 hours, with rest periods scheduled accordingly), some standing and walking, bending and reaching as necessary * Ability to communicate with Member and Advisors while continuously wearing a telephone headset Preferred Skills: * Knowledge of products, such as appliances and electronics Education Requirements: HS Graduate or Equivalent Years of Related Experience: None Age Requirement: 18+
