Job Responsibilities

As an Outpatient Pharmacy Supervisor, you will perform the duties of all subordinate employees and other duties as required. Ensures compliance with Federal and State Laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Responsible for demonstrating abilities and skills in pharmacy business management, customer problem resolution, leadership and supervision.

Additional responsibilities of the Outpatient Pharmacy Supervisor include:

• Responsible for the day-to-day services/activities/functions within an outpatient pharmacy setting
• Administers organizational and department policies and procedures on a day-to-day basis.
• Assists the Outpatient Pharmacy Manager with the development and implementation of pharmacy strategic initiatives
• Able to demonstrate and apply knowledge of contemporary outpatient pharmacy operations principles and standards
• Supervises Departmental personnel & operational practices to ensure compliance w/Federal & State laws & regulations, TJC, OSHA, SBOP, Statewide & Departmental policies & procedures
• Functions shall include insuring adequate committees and ensuring that drug distribution and clinical services are provided according to established departmental policies and procedures.
• Able to demonstrate proficiency in oral and written English-speaking communication skills in order to obtain appropriate information
• Performs the duties of all subordinate employees & other duties as required

Job Requirements

As an Outpatient Pharmacy Supervisor you must have experience with pharmacy management.

Additional requirements of the Outpatient Pharmacy Supervisor include:

• Area: Ability to work in the Lancaster, CA area
• Licensure requirements: Must have open, clean and active California Pharmacist license
• Years of Experience: 3-5 years of management experience
• Assignment Length: Temp - temp to hire, must be flexible as may end or extend depending on client need
• Schedule: Rotating
• Pay: DOE
• Background/drug requirements: Ability to successfully complete background check, client health screening criteria and drug screen
