Director Corporate Marketing Blitz

The Director Corporate Marketing-Blitz is responsible for driving all Agency initiatives by collaborating with senior leaders to create and implement an annual agency marketing plan which will effectively position BLITZ as a leading integrated communications agency with the competitive industry landscape. Position Summary

The Director Corporate Marketing-Blitz is responsible for driving all Agency initiatives by collaborating with senior leaders to create and implement an annual agency marketing plan which will effectively position BLITZ as a leading integrated communications agency with the competitive industry landscape. This position develops overarching agency content marketing strategy and manages content development, working with Blitz CEO and key business leaders to curate and distribute content in the marketplace. This role also drives agency website positioning, case study and capabilities updates, and agency social media & paid media strategies.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Drive all Agency marketing initiatives: Collaborate with senior leaders to create and implement an annual agency marketing plan to effectively position BLITZ as a leading integrated communications agency within the competitive industry landscape.
  • Proactively manage the execution of all agency marketing initiatives across paid, earned and owned channels.
  • Create and manage thought leadership content plan and blog/social publishing calendars
  • Enable HubSpot marketing automation, Smart Lists, drip campaigns
  • Develop overarching agency content marketing strategy and manage content development, working with CEO and key business leaders to curate and distribute content in the marketplace.
  • Manage / Facilitate trade memberships and correlating added value opportunities (e.g., Ad Club, MITX, WOMMA)
  • Drive agency website positioning, case study and capabilities updates, as well as search engine optimization strategy and UX optimizations.
  • Create capabilities content for web, social and presentation decks
  • Drive agency social media strategy, as well as paid media strategy to support broader marketing goals.
  • Manage all Agency email marketing including quarterly e-newsletter and seasonal email campaigns as well as an internal agency e-newsletter.
  • Amplify press coverage and agency visibility through press, trade coverage and conference participation.
  • Participate and manage any agency brand identity initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the results of all marketing activities and investments, and identify solutions for improvement to the Senior Management Team.
  • Track ongoing marketing expenses.
  • Manage and support the development and training of a Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Designer / Layout Artist

Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources

Indirect Reports

May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

Travel and/or Driving Requirements

Travel and Driving are essential duties and function of this job

Travel up to 20 %

Minimum Qualifications

Education Level: (Required): Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

(Preferred): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Field of Study/Area of Experience: Marketing Communications or Journalism

3-5 years of experience in Marketing/Brand

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • BA/BS Degree is required, in Marketing Communications or Journalism related field strongly preferred.Ideally holds HubSpot Inbound Marketing Certification
  • 4 - 5 years of marketing/brand experience is required.
  • Impeccable writing skills are required.
  • Previous B2B or agency experience in marketing strategy with a focus on inbound, project management & marketing program collateral development is strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task are essential, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills with a proficiency in KeyNote, Microsoft Office and PowerPoint are required.
  • Must be able to establish credibility and rapport with all levels of staff, both internally and externally.
  • Limited travel may be required.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with management
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter according to changes in projects or business environment
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, in order to meet deadlines
  • Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines

Office / Sedentary Requirements

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
