Glass Handler/Cutter (Days)

Well then look no further, Express Employment Professionals has the perfect position for you! Our client, located in Tomah, is a very large-scale manufacturer of insulated glass. We are seeking window channel assemblers and glass handlers to work first shift hours of 6:00pm-4:30am, Monday-Thursday. In the channel department, you will have the opportunity to cross-train between different stations. This is a light-duty, air conditioned assembly department. Stations include bending channel, finishing the metal, perforating it with holes, insulating it, and installing it. In the glass-handling department, associates will be responsible for taking glass at it comes off the line and referencing an overhead screen to determine which skids to place the glass in. You will the place the glass vertically into these skids and perform any packaging tasks that are necessary. You may also have the opportunity to learn the bevel the edges of glass by maneuvering it on a roller table.
