Aerotek is currently seeking for a full time Electrical Maintenance Technician to assist with maintaining automated manufacturing machinery for a company specialized in the production of food products.
The Electrical Maintenance Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting automated machinery designed to production of snacks and non perishable food products.
The Maintenance Electrician will be assisting with performing preventive/predictive maintenance; resolving safety concerns; monitoring inventory supplies; and maintaining maintenance records.
We are seeking for a maintenance mechanic with a strong background as an industrial maintenance mechanic of automated equipment. Minimum experience required is 5 years in mechanical knowledge and at least a 2 years on electrical-mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.
The Maintenance Electrician will be interacting heavily with other technicians, machine operators and production clerks therefore the ideal candidate must have a very good people skills.
Candidates must be willing to submit to a drug screen and criminal background required by the company.
Candidate must be willing to submit to a hands-on and writen electrical & controls test.
Candidate must have a HS diploma or GED
The pay rate is in the mid to upper $28-31/hour DOE
The swing shift for this position is 4pm - 12am. They will be working 4-10/hr shifts a week. For example- they could come in early at 2 or 3 pm, and leave at 12am or 1am, they could also come in at 4pm, and leave at 2am.
The graveyard shift or 3rd shift (graveyard) works four 10 hour days with the expectation they work a 40 hour work week. Starts around 9-9:30 pm and work until 8 am. The shift will be 8 days straight and 6 days off.
During the training period will rotate around to the other shifts to get exposure to machinery and training. This training process usually takes about 3 months. Once the training has been completed will work a stable shift.
