Job Description: We are currently seeking Customer Service Call Center Representatives to work in the Linthicum, MD area. The representatives will be responsible for working with members on multiple levels but not limited to the following:

  • Interacting by phone with members
  • Assisting members with questions regarding claims, EOBs and other various items regarding coverage
  • Describing products and services, responding to questions, and obtaining customer information
  • Entering data and maintaining database of existing customers or potential customers
  • Maintaining records of telephonic communications, interactions, accounts, orders, and payments

Work Environment: This is a call center environment, the member services team is broken into two teams the CSRs and the Outbound team. They are looking for people that are able to handle a high volume with great customer service skills. This is a metric driven job in which they have numbers to hit. If they are not able to keep up they will be given opprotunities to improve but it does come down to preformance.

Qualifications:

  • Technical expert in related computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel.
  • Ability to become technical experts in CRM, Premia, Crossroads.
  • Great communication skills as well as ability to work with others in close manner.
  • Good keyboard skills and impressive telephone etiquette.
  • Able to maintain customer confidentiality.
  • 1-2 years of previous experience with customer service (call center) in the healthcare field (required).
  • Must be flexible to work the hours between 9am-9pm (8 hour shift).

Performance Expectations: They will need to handle 100+ calls per day. They must maintain high levels of quality. They are expected to be accurate/courteous/efficent
