Healthcare Claims Reviewer - Full-time / Part-time

A rapidly growing Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) company is currently hiring individuals to assist with increasing business needs. Candidates must be comfortable in a fast-paced, corporate, professional environment and demonstrate a passion for the field of health-care.

Individuals within this role will be responsible for utilizing dual monitors and company specific databases to process Pharmacy Claims in relation to a patient's insurance coverage. Candidates must be comfortable on a computer as a large portion of this position will require the use of several databases and online resources to verify information for accuracy and completeness. Research may also be needed to obtain additional/missing information for specific documents in process. Verification will be necessary when reviewing medication and service requests provided by pharmacies.

This job demands a high level of attention to detail when screening for duplicates in patient profiles and drug requests, transcribing and interpreting prescriptions, verification of prescribing physician, quantities prescribed, and date the Rx was written.

The PBM is production based environment and looking for individuals who possess the skills to work autonomously together to achieve metrics goals built around quality and quantity. Depending on volume, there may be a need to assist with both inbound and outbound patient calls.

Shift: M-F; Individuals must be flexible between 7am-7pm for a set 8-hour shift. Must also be flexible to work overtime as needed which could include weekend hours.

Wage: $14 - $16 per hour
