Afton Alps has a beautiful 18 hole golf course, with scenic views of the St. Croix River Valley, and an abundance of wildlife that will make your golf experience unlike any other. Afton is less than 20 minutes from Hastings, Woodbury, Cottage Grove, and Hudson.

The Afton Alps is looking for outgoing, enthuastic, goal-oriented individuals to join the golf intructor team. This position provides a high degree of guest visability and delivering great guest service is the responsibility of all staff members. This position runs from June to August based on the junior golf camps and programs scheduled in this time frame.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily golf operations; managing play and teaching lessons for junior golfers usually ages 5 to 14.
• Greet and assist all guests in the clubhouse and on the course.
• Providing excellent guest services to all guests (internal and external).
• Assist the teaching golf pro when needed.
• Reporting any issues, problems or concerns to teaching golf pro or clubhouse supervisor/manager.
• Ensure golf carts are clean and free of debris.
• Other duties as assigned.

Phyisical Requirements:

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.

Qualifications:

• 16 years of age or older - required
• Valid driver's license - required
• Previous guest service experience - preferred
• Able to work weekdays, especially Tuesdays and Thursday mornings - required
• Able to work entire junior golf league season June 21 - July 28 - required
• Able to work Golf Camps: June 13 - 17 - required
