As an Assistant Property Manager, you will assist the Property Manager in running the property efficiently and being a point of contact in their absence. On a daily basis you will assist in the handling of all facets of residential customer service, leasing, marketing and office administration. In addition you will interact with our guests and ensure their satisfaction. You will work with and lead your staff in daily operations and leasing efforts to sell the property and all amenities within the community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee operations of the property
  • Supervise leasing and other customer service staff
  • Regularly follow up on leads
  • Ensure leasing staff is following standards
  • Prepare administrative reports for month-end
  • Regularly tour the property with future guests
  • Collect rent and monitor delinquencies.
  • Handle with rent increases and lease renewals
  • Input all move in/out paperwork
  • Monitor paperwork flow for accuracy
  • Follow up on issues related to leasing, customer service and facilities
  • Conduct sales presentations in person and over phone
  • Walk units for quality control
  • Ensure inventory levels are managed
  • Oversee sales activity and marketing functions as directed by PM
  • Manage and monitor maintenance requests. Build and maintain positive relationships with residents
  • Act as liaison for supporting departments and Oakwood Corporate Housing
  • Regular communications with Centralized Accounts Receivable as it relates to receivables
  • On call availability shared with Property Manager in the evenings for emergencies

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years customer service experience; hospitality industry preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Must be able to relocate within the U.S. for promotional opportunities
  • 2+ years supervisory experience
  • Professional and polished customer service and communication skills
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Ability to live on property is preferred
