We have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Tech with TPM experience based out of our Chicago, Illinois office.

In this role, you will be responsible to conduct TPM's on CNC machines so that the equipment maintenance that strives to achieve perfect production and emphasizes proactive and preventive maintenance to maximize the operational efficiency of equipment.

Additional responsibilities:

• Implement TPM strategy within the plant using methodology aligned with Wabtec framework and other capabilities. Assume responsibility for the extensive implementation of and as needed to initiate deployment.
• Promote the developing culture through TPM, deliver TPM schedule maintenance tasks based on predicted and/or measured failure rates.
• The individual enables most maintenance to be planned for times when equipment is not scheduled for production.
• To help CNC operators develop skills to routinely maintain equipment and identify emerging problems.
• Work with facilities manager to coordinate equipment downtime with maintenance and production to execute TPM activities.
• Work hands on in troubleshooting issues and participating in TPM events.
• Develop and train other maintenance personnel on how to develop TPM work instructions.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience working with and understanding TPM principals and methods including 5S, Planned Maintenance and Kaizen.
