Mechanical background needed for this Indianapolis South job shop. Express Employment Professionals is working with a job shop on the Southside to help them hire an experienced or entry level Machinist Mechanic to work on manual machines and other metalworking equipment. This job shop repairs and refurbishes existing components used in mechanical assemblies and fabricates replacement parts from existing drawing and prints. Ideal candidate would have a mechanical or machining background with the ability to dis-assemble and repair.
Must be mechanically inclined, have experience with machine shop tools, understanding of basic specs and blueprints, work with lifts and other material handling devices, and have experience working with mics, calipers and other measuring devices.
Pay: $16-$18/hr
1st shift.
