Manufacturing Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Growing tier one automotive supplier is seeking manufacturing engineer to join their organization.

Job Description:

70% of time spent on the floor working with day to day production issues and programs. Need to be able to communicate with general production and work through troubleshooting problems. Must have ability to support the floor in every aspect.
30% of time will be spent doing PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis) along with other Continuous Improvement reports. This could be Kaizen events, 5S, or Kepner Trego, etc.

Job Expectations:

This Manufacturing Engineer will need to be able to communicate in cross-functional teams. This could be working with the production floor, quality engineer, Project Engineer, Program Manager and Technicians to ensure the production is on schedule. This engineer will be responsible for 3 work cells and handling 2-3 launches at a given time.

Job Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering

5+ years' of automotive manufacturing experience

Strong understanding of plastics, (ie thermoset or thermoplastics)

Automated equipment experience is preferred
