The Group Ride Leader is responsible for planning, leading, and guiding a group bike ride within the Front Range. Properly explain and demonstrate technique as needed.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan group ride routes (recreational and intermediate).
  • Networking within the community, to attract more participants.
  • Recreational Ride: 25 – 30 miles (2 – 2.5 hours), 12 – 15 MPH average speed.
  • Intermediate Ride: 40 – 50 miles (3 – 4 hours), 16 – 18 MPH average speed.
  • Work at least 8 hours during DOW sale (March) and Bike Fest (April/May).
  • Fix various bike problems that should arise while on ride.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • At least 1 year related work experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Safety conscious
  • Knowledge of local bike trails
  • Basic bike mechanic skills
