Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinate with staff from engineering, quality, production and purchasing teams
• Perform and support cost analysis, including reductions and avoidance on high volume products
• Knowledge of 5S
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to review drawing changes
• Ability to lead and offer solutions and support to management
• Provide leadership through project management and establish new policies and procedures when needed, making improvements to programs and processes
• Help manage and maintain efficiency on setups, cycle times, and follow up on floor problems
• Recognizing opportunities to reduce tooling waste and time inefficiencies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong MS Office skills
• Experience in AutoCAD and Solidworks
• Machine design knowledge
• Knowledge of tools, designs and their applications
