Malone has partnered with an aluminum smelting factory located in the Inwood Industrial Park. They recycle raw and processed aluminum materials and repurpose them into aluminum bars to be remanufactured into automotive rims. This industrial facility is conveniently located off of Interstate 65 between Columbus, Indiana and Seymour, Indiana. Our customer has multiple jobs available including but not limited to: Forklift Drivers, General Labor, CDL Drivers, Furnace Operators, Skid Banders, Inspectors, and more!!

Hiring Requirements
Must consent to a background check
Must consent to a drug screen
Must have the ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
Must be able to work in a hot environment
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
Prior forging experience preferred, but not required
For the CDL positions only - A Class B CDL is required and a Hazmat Certification is preferred
Duties May Include
Operating a forklift
Preparing casting area for casting
Preparing raw materials
Inspecting aluminum rims
Strapping and banding pallets
CDL Drivers - required to take materials from one parking lot to another ( these are NOT over the road truck driving positions)
Shift Schedule and Hours
These are 12 hour rotating / swing shifts. 3 days on 2 days off then 2 days on then 3 days off. The schedule rotation means you work Friday, Saturday, Sunday, then you are off Monday & Tuesday, then work Wednesday, Thursday, then you are off Friday Saturday & Sunday. It is a continual rotation giving you a long weekend off every other week and still giving you overtime every other week.
8am - 8:30 pm A Shift
8am - 8:30pm C Shift
8pm - 8:30am B Shift
8pm - 8:30am D Shift
Pay Rate
Operators - A & C Shifts $12.50 w/ Heat Premium $13.00 w/ Heat Premium After 90 Increase $13.75- w/out Heat Premium 90 Day Increase $13.25
Operators - B & D Shifts $13.50 w/ Heat Premium $14.00 w/ Heat Premium After 90 Day Increase $14.75 - w/out Heat Premium After 90 Day Increase $14.25
Primary & Back Up Drivers ( CDL Required) $15.00 w/ 90 Day Increase $15.50
