Positions in this function are involved in developing market strategies to support products and drive membership/sales growth. Positions develop strategies and tactical plans to support consumer/member innovation, support new product and program launches, and combat competitive pressures. May analyze economic considerations, develop marketing forecasts, estimate costs, and manage program/project budgets.Primary Responsibilities: 


Identify and create market brand opportunities with potential to increase membership in a diverse multi-cultural senior citizen population
Develop and coordinate strategies to increase awareness of UHC service product by establishing relationships with Community Based Organizations, Schools and City Departments and Faith Based Organizations. 
Build new business  partnerships, while building on existing relationships within each of the respective counties 
Assist on educational and sales events within our targeted population Execute, plan and coordinate resources (i.e., Vendors, Partners, , etc.) to ensure a successful event 
Responsible for meeting or exceeding targeted growth, retention, and enrollment expectations within assigned territory.
Conduct community presentations to promote UHC and product specific information which potentially could impact member growth. 
Collaborate with internal UHC Sales representatives to assist with marketing and outreach activities  
Share our mission to help people live healthier lives, throughout the communities we service- down
Analyzes and investigates.
Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise.
This candidate will assist a team to support the following counties:
Jefferson, Polk, Chambers, Liberty, Orange, Hardin, Newton, Jasper, Tyler, San Jacinto, Walker, Jackson, Dewitt, Gonzales, Lavaca, Colorado, Washington, Burleson, Brazos, Grimes, Madison, Leon, Robertson, Milam, Bell, Falls, Limestone, Freestone, Hill, McLennan, Coryell, Basque, Somervell, Erath, Comanche, Hamilton, Mills, Lampasas, San Saba, Llamo, Blanco, Gillespie

Requirements


Required Qualifications


High School Diploma/GED required
Ability to travel up to 60% within assigned territories
2+ years of Community Outreach field experience           
1+ year of experience with Medicaid           
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office           
3+ years of marketing experience with in a matrix organization            
2+ years of experience influencing and collaborating with others           
Preferred Qualifications:


Medicaid Market Guideline training is a plus   
Health/Life Insurance License is a plus           
Bilingual fluency with English and Spanish is a plus 
Experience working with children and/or families with disabilities
