ATTENDANT, WAREHOUSE (FULL-TIME)

 

• We have an opening for a full-time ATTENDANT, WAREHOUSE position.
• Location: Shell - Woodcreek, 150 N. Dairy Ashford Rd., Houston, TX 77079.  Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: M-F  7:30am - 4:30pm
• Requirement: Forklift certification and warehouse experience required

Summary: Receives, distributes and ships material, tools, equipment and products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be delivered or shipped.
• Conveys materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Places materials/goods on racks, or staging areas according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
• Assist with customer requests; process shipments.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Opens bales, crates and other containers.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for delivery or shipment to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Uses computer to enter records.
• Drives forklift to transport stored items or to pick up items.
• Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.
• Prepares parcels for mailing.
• Maintains inventory records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
