My client has been in business for 40+ years, is privately held and they manufacture parts that are going in some of the most sophisticated aircraft there is today. This employer is open to either someone experience or someone that wants to learn the ropes. Additionally, there is room to grow into CNC programming if that is something you want.
In order to be successful in the position we are seeking someone that could do the following; Will be responsible for reading and interpreting documents such as QC procedures, work instructions, specifications, drawings, and purchase orders. Will need to verify the conditions and calibration of all inspection & test equipment prior to use and completing the inspection. Needs to be able to jump in and know how to perform First Article's of Inspection (measurements, dimensions, filling out reports). This individual will be inspecting electronic sub-assemblies and PCB's and performing in-process and final inspections on these assemblies by using measuring tools.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience; Working knowledge of ISO9001, MIL, and IPC Specifications. AS9100 is a PLUS. Need 3+ years of previous First Article of Inspection experience. Once the inspection process is completed they will be responsible for documenting that all specified operations have been completed and will be required to verify purchase order quality has been met. CMM Experience is a PLUS along with Photometrics Experience.
