Senior Analyst, Corporate Business Development

Description:

Our Corporate Business Development team is part of our Finance Department responsible for the driving the analysis of current and future strategic projects and initiatives for TJX. Senior Analysts in this group can expect to:

• Partner and advise senior management on various global initiatives
• Be immersed in global projects that will keep you challenged
• Work with multiple internal organizations and build relationships that will rapidly shape your career
• Create, define and be given ad hoc analysis projects with tight deadlines
• Synthesize conclusions and develop recommendations based on data you have gathered
• Brainstorm fresh approaches and ideas pertaining to TJX Companies growth
• Quickly grow in your career and prepare TJX Companies for the future!

Requirements which are strongly preferred:

• Completed a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics and have a minimum of two years of experience in Investment Banking, Consulting or Corporate Finance
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 OR if your school does not use GPA, must be in the top 20% of your class
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple engagements and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment
• A critical thinker who can quickly evaluate and analyze initiatives and financial projections
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively with senior professionals
• Ability to work with multiple business disciplines
• Ability to work independently, manage small engagements or parts of large engagements
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
