Diversity-Vuteq, LLC a manufacturer/supplier for a major automotive manufacturer currently looking for a Quality Specialist.We are looking for a strong team player with a solid background in manufacturing.Candidates should also possess strong communication skills and be flexible with job tasks and/or work hours.

Position

We have an immediate need for a hands-on, customer-driven QA Specialist at our Princeton, IN facility. This position will play a key role in our quality system, insure compliance with all company quality standards,and work closely with other operational departments regarding quality issues. The qualified candidate will have the proven ability to provide technical knowledge, improve quality and operational results, and lead members of the quality team. This position reports to the Plant Manager.

 

*Implement countermeasures to reduce and prevent internal quality problems and customer complaints.
*Support testing for new products/process development and in-process testing.
*Inspect, test and measure products, components and materials using analytical equipment and gauges. Analyze and report results

 *Support conformance to the Supplier Quality Assurance process.
*Review quality procedures, documents and records for completeness and accuracy.
*Assure quality system compliance.
*Develop procedures, work instructions, forms and other quality documents as needed.
*Develop standardized methods for inspection and testing.
*Assist in the maintenance and improvement of the quality system.
*Develop and implement methods to control nonconforming product
*Perform system, process and product audits.
*Provide training on quality procedures and techniques
*Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Two year college or technical school; two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience with PPAPs, corrective action/root cause analysis, supplier quality experience and Good Manufacturing Practices

Must have the ability to multitask and work in a fast pace environment and be able to effectively prioritize tasks

Must have strong Microsoft Office Word and Excel

Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to gain a general knowledge of customer specific requirements

 

Preferred Qualifications

Apply and update control plans and PFMEAs

Knowledge of automotive quality systems

 

Experience

Minimum 2 years of Quality experience
