Automation Personnel Services in Decatur is looking for a degreed Accountant for a local manufacturing facility in Decatur!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assure that all customers are invoiced timely in accordance with contract terms
Proactively monitor and assure timely payment of customer terms
Reconcile significant general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
Assist in monthly closing process, including inventory reconciliations
Develop effective and efficient accounting processes and procedures and proactively resolve issues
Prepare reports for the management team
Perform other duties as directed by the Plant Manager
Job Requirements
Bachelor s degree in accounting
Prefers two years or more of accounting experience
Excellent computer skills with advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred
Excellent work ethic and attendance record
Pay rate is 40K starting or DOE
Preferred Qualifications
Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
Macola Software a plus, but willing to train
Drug screen and background check are required
