Director 3 - Facilities Operations

Sodexo's Facilities Management division is seeking a Director of Engineering 3 for Naples North Hospital located in Naples, FL. As the Director of the Engineering Department, you will oversee the daily operations of the maintenance and plant operations department within a hospital setting. Daily operations include customer service, staff development, regulatory compliance (TJC, NFPA, etc.), preventive and corrective maintenance, project management, master facility planning, and the department operating & capital budgets.

 

As a qualified candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in managing a large maintenance department in a 250+ bed healthcare organization along with the technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, & plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. A CHFM is a plus.

 

The Director of Facilities Operations  is responsible for directing facilities maintenance operations of building(s) and property at a single unit. The Director of Facilities Operations manages the  preventative maintenance and reactive repair of skilled trades, e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, utilities; and manages the hiring, training and supervision of staff, professionals and management.  The Director of Facilities Operations manages a safe and efficient working environment, essential to the performance of the business.  The Director may oversee  construction work and often manages other core Sodexo services, and/or  logistics of business/operations services, e.g., grounds keeping, laundry, food, security, inventory, mail, concierge services.

 

Basic Education Requirement- Bachelor's degree

Basic Management Experience- 3 years

Basic Functional Experience- 4 years
