Our Client is a leading developer and administrator of affordable, web-based individual health insurance plans and ancillary products. They integrate third-generation experience, diverse range of products and cloud-based, proprietary technology platform, establishing the business as a member of the vanguard of Managing Underwriters Third-Party Administrators and Active Insurance Technology companies.

The Regulatory and Non-Regulatory environment that they conduct business in requires them to comply with Insurance Companies guidelines and individual State's laws. They manage the Regulatory and Consumer advocacy through concentrated investigation, discovery and sensible resolutions to satisfy all parties involved.

This role will ensure that the processes and procedures in place for all of their call centers are current, accurate, and effective and being followed on a daily basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Obtains and logs complainant requests into HII's Compliance Management System
Serves as the Regulatory/Non-Regulatory/Consumer Compliance liaison to Insurance Companies, Third Party Administrators and Licensed Agents.
Responsible for Regulatory/Non-Regulatory/Consumer Advocacy investigation, discovery, resolution and communication.
Charged with writing response letters to complainants, State DOIs and the BBB.
As liaison to Insurance Companies, this role provides documentation and support for any changes needed and provides summaries of the final disposition of investigations.
Distributes letters and follows up to ensure timely receipt of response letters.
Processes any refunds or follows other additional processes that are requested by the Insurance Carriers.

Education and Work Experience:

Bachelor's Degree
8 years of Insurance Industry Experience
3 years of Insurance Compliance specific Experience
Licensed Agent in resident state (Florida 2-15)
Effective communication skills - written, verbal and listening
Effective, demonstrable knowledge of MS Office Suite

Prior to placement, qualified candidate(s) must be able to successful pass a criminal background check and drug test.
