Cash Applicator Needed near Brentwood, NY!
Monday - Friday hours
Pay rate: $15.00 per hour
Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Apply all payments and credits to customer accounts on a daily basis
- Process cash and checks received each day for customer accounts into the computer
- Adjust accounts: Key off payments, apply credits, wire transfers, return check fees, write offs
- Voucher government and contract accounts
- Assist with helping open mail and scan checks into the system
- Assist with switchboard coverage when needed
- Mail accounts payable checks when needed
- Assist with other duties/projects that may be assigned
Requirements:
- Previous experience handling Accounts Receivables and/or Accounting functions
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- MS Office Proficiency
