On behalf of RTI International, Headway Workforce Solutions is seeking Part-Time Field Interviewers (FIs) to gather information about television viewing and household demographics for Nielsen Media Research. Interviewers for the National Household Enumeration Survey (NHES) conduct 5 to 10 minute doorstep-interviews at randomly selected addresses.
 
As a Part-Time Field Interviewer, you will…

• Complete interviews at assigned sample households.
• Follow attempt rules that specify the minimum number of times, days and day-parts an assigned address must be attempted.
• Transmit information to RTI each day worked, via a WiFi connection.
• Keep your supervisor closely informed of progress in the field and issues as they occur.
• Review the status of all cases with your field supervisor on a weekly basis.
• Submit time and expense reports weekly on-line.

Requirements

• Candidates must be fully bilingual in Spanish and English and must be able to pass certification by the NHES Language Specialist.
• Available and willing to work mostly evenings and weekends (both Saturday and Sunday).
• Attend and successfully complete a 4-day training session July 14th-17th in Raleigh, NC.
• Use a project-provided tablet computer for data entry, map reviews and territory organization.
• Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and reliable, personal transportation that is available for business use.
• Cooperate in periodic field audits.
• Meet or exceed quality and performance standards, and project deadlines.
• Respect respondent rights and maintain data and project confidentiality.
• Candidates must enjoy interacting with a variety of people in a mix of socio-economic neighborhoods. Great people skills are a must!

Pay

The rate for this position ranges from $15/hour or higher, depending upon the applicant’s qualifications and level of experience.

Hours

This study requires the consistent ability to work approximately 20 to 30 hours a week.
