Responsible for processing all hotel laundry and linens in a timely manner, and according to operational and/or guest needs. Washes all soiled linens, towels, napkins and tablecloths; folding and ironing as required. Operates washing machines and dryers, cleans dryer filter daily, operates pressing/iron machines per standard, and maintains all equipment as trained.

• Sort linens and terry according to guidelines
• Load/Wash linen according to weight guidelines and pre-set formulas/cycles
• Fold a variety of linen to meet quality assurance standards
• Inspect/re-wash/ discard linen on an as necessary basis under supervision and report discard accurately on a monthly basis for inventory control
• Work efficiently to ensure productivity standards are being maintained throughout work day
• Sweep and mop laundry room daily as needed and as daily schedule dictates
• Clean and maintain tools and machinery as necessary and as daily schedule dictates
• Adhere by safety and sanitization regulations as instructed by OSHA
• Assist with housekeeping operations when needed
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Other duties as assigned
