Aerotek is currently seeking a Maintenance Tech for a well-established company in Springfield, MO.
This is a direct placement opportunity!
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of Electro Automation System Installation and Troubleshooting Experience
- Operational Knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes motors, servos, pumps (both air and electric), drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial/electronic controls and power transmission systems
- An understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Able to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives
- PLC trouble shooting and problem solving ability with practical, mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Must be able to read and understand both electrical and mechanical drawings
- Working knowledge of Encoders and various types of sensors
- Working knowledge of power transmission equipment, bearings, pneumatics and hydraulics
- Basic welding skills
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma/Equivalent
5 years in trouble shooting industrial electrical control systems down to component level
Must be computer literate in a Microsoft environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently in a mature professional manner
Must be flexible Over time will be required
Corrugated background is a plus but not required
