Busy Medical Billing Company in Oak Lawn is looking for a Full Time Experienced Medical Biller and Coder. We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package, including medical, life and dental insurance as well as profit sharing.
Requirements:
1. CPB or CPC certification preferred
2. 3 years experience with coding and billing Required
3. Specialize in Urogynecology and Orthopedics
4. Advanced knowledge of Medical Terminology
5. Extensive knowledge of official coding conventions and rules established by AMA and CMS for assignment and diagnostic and procedural codes
6. Must be familiar with all insurances
7. Candidate needs to have strong medical collections experience (at least 3 years) and be able to handle a fast pace environment
8. Must have working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-9\10 from a reimbursement perspective
Job Responsibilities:
1. Coding all office visits, procedures and surgical bills
2. Submitting claims to insurance companies
