Senior Technical Analyst
Responsibilities:

• Support distribution center projects, implementation and support, to assist in the development of new products for end of life equipment replacement, as well as, new technical initiatives.
• Required to perform on call routine, as well as, be able to travel to our DC's to complete projects.
• Under the direction of infrastructure management, acts as the primary infrastructure architect, providing technical solutions in an environment that uses many differing technologies.
• Utilizes expert skills in servers, networking, storage, desktop, operating systems, utilities, appliances, packaged solutions, wireless, VR, etc. to provide technical direction and guidance to individual associates, project teams and groups as assigned.
• Provides senior participation in product analysis, change management, audit compliance, teaching and mentoring, vendor relations, customer service and security.
• Such responsibilities may require off hours support, on-call rotations and travel.
• Completes complex infrastructure technical analysis, specifications, design, testing, operational documentation and implementation.
• Coordinates with other technical experts.
• Provides technical guidance and training to other staff members assigned to projects.
• Implements approved infrastructure solutions for new development, according to TJX policies, procedures, compliance requirements and industry good-practice.
• Works with internal/external users and business partners to identify new and/or improved products and solutions for infrastructure functionality, applications, storage, etc.
• Advises/assists junior staff members with monitoring complex infrastructure, problem resolution and improvement recommendations. Maintains documentation for infrastructure architecture and new projects/solutions.
• Ensures compliance with audit, PCI and SOX requirements, TJX policies and guidelines and industry good-practice.

Requirements:

• Provide hardware and software support for 20 DC’s worldwide which include configuration, installation, and troubleshooting MQ, BRMS, FTP, TCP/IP, i5OS, Security, Operations
• Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk
• Knowledge of server administration including VMware, backups, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and GPO
• Assist in network administration and troubleshooting of switches, routers, firewalls and wireless APs
• Be able to manage Windows Server 2008 setup and deployment for new users
• Perform routine checks on iSeries
• Document internal processes/Change Management
• Assist in monthly IT reporting to management
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned
