Masker - Full-time / Part-time

Local, growing metal finishing company is looking to add a detailed, motivated, organized Masker to its chemical line and paint department.  If you have been wanting to get into production work, and aerospace - this is your chance!  Prior masking experience is not required - however we are looking for proven responsibilities that involve detailed and intricate work.  This is a temp to hire position.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Masker processes parts according to shop traveler instructions and applicable specifications and drawings. The Masker is responsible for shielding those surfaces of the parts that do not require processing. 

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific processes or tasks.
• Assure integrity of incoming parts (damage, scratches, etc).
• Follow the traveler and the blueprint to mask parts in accordance with the applicable specifications.
• Fill out the shop traveler, logs, forms and other paperwork.
• Package processed parts.
• Maintain clean work environment.
• Perform other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Basic understanding of blueprints and engineering drawings.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

SHIFT:  Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

PAY:  $10.00 - $12.00 / hour DOE
