2nd shift Assembly Test Techs needed for our client in Corona, Ca. Must be flexible to work a second shift 3:30pm to 1:00am with overtime. (Will train on the 1st shift then transfer to the 2nd shift) Seeking assemblers with electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics and a minimum of 2 years experience. This is an FAA client that requires specific pre-employment hiring criteria.
Must have worked as an assembly technician in a manufacturing and or production type environment with metal objects. Must have had proven longevity in previous positions and be able to pass a seven year background and drug screen.
Job duties:
Layout and construct various product assemblies with minimum supervision according to blueprints or specifications, using a variety of portable or hand tools.
Break down assembly drawings and specifications, and plan the successive steps of fabricating and assembling mechanical parts and units.
Assemble parts according to print including fitting, aligning and adjusting.
Insure mechanisms are free from binding or interference and function properly as regards moving parts.
Duties involve close tolerance hand work and ability to diagnose improper mechanical assembly or operation and take the necessary steps to correct the problem.
Perform assembly work in a safe and efficient manner. Insure work area is clean and orderly.
May perform work in other areas of the shop as may be required.
