Maintenance Mechanic

A growing food production company has a need for 5 technicians due to growth within the company. There are 5 total openings all on 2nd and 3rd Shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participates in changeovers, machine PM, and repairs
• Spends 95% of time on the floor with the machines
• Understands and can relate the current status of all production machines on the floor
• Works closely with shift supervisor to maintain machines in safe, efficient and quality process
• Experience with troubleshooting pneumatic systems
• Basic electrical troubleshooting of machinery
• Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Three to five years working as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to bend, reach and lift overhead
• Must have good mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Experience performing PM's
• Experience with Automated filling and packaging systems strongly preferred
• Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift
• Must be able to be on call on rotating basis
