Hiring for Mechanical and Plumbing Designers! The designers will be responsible for:
-Design plumbing and fire protection systems in accordance with applicable residential and commercial buildings codes, jurisdictions, industry standards, and utilities.
-Prepare specifications to meet client requirements.
-Participate in design chariots, coordination meetings related to design, construction, LEED, and other project related activities.
-Construction administration including reviewing and responding to submittals and RFIs and performing punch list visits and final and associated technical writing and editing.
-Site visits related to documenting existing conditions and construction administration.
-Collaborate with all consultants and contractors for all plumbing and fire protection related work.
-Assist to allocate appropriate CAD design for all activities and ensure compliance to client time frames.
-Organize scope into major categories to outline deliverable and milestones.
-Develop workarounds to overcome obstacles in the critical path.
-Integrate, review, and validate critical relationships with primary parties.
-Manage and control related data through Excel and SharePoint.
-Interface with Owners, Operators, and Contractors to discuss impact of work and resolution of problems.
Qualifications:
-2+ years of Mechanical Design experience for residential and commercial facilities
-Plumbing Design Experience for residential and commercial facilities
-Strong Proficiency with AutoCAD
-REVIT experience is a plus
-Degree in Engineering or related field
-EIT is a plus but not required
Pay: $60,000-$85,000/year
