Job Summary:
The Maintenance Division is currently seeking a Plumber to provide fully skilled technical services for our Plumbing Department.
Activities include:
- Assembling, installing and repairing pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.
- Locating and marking positions of pipe and connections.
- Cutting openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and fittings.
- Cutting, threading and bending pipe composed of iron, steel, brass, clay, and plastic using hand and power tools.
- Maintain inventory and equipment on a daily basis.
The ideal candidate must possess:
- Minimum of 3-4 years Journeyman experience in plumbing.
- Thorough working knowledge of dispensing (liquid) units and fire systems.
- Working knowledge of the plumbing code and industry trends.
POSITION REQUIRES FULL AVAILABILITY TO WORK A VARIETY OF SHIFTS, INCLUDING WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS. CANDIDATE MUST BE PHYSICALLY ABLE CLIMB, CRAWL, LIFT AND WORK FROM VARIOUS HEIGHTS ABOVE GROUND LEVEL.
