About this job

The service desk staff is responsible for monitoring the service desk area. This includes controlling member and non-member access to the club, answering questions on club programs and policies, and assisting with club maintenance. The service desk staff is under the supervision of the Service Desk Coordinator.

Duties include but are not limited to:

1. Answering phones and taking messages.
2. Washing and handing out towels.
3. Monitoring club access to members and non-members.
4. Collecting balances on past due accounts.
5. Maintaining a tidy service desk area.
6. Operating POS system.
7. Assisting with club housekeeping, restocking locker room paper products.
8. Opening and closing the club as needed.
9. Making appointments for member fitness orientations.
10. Greeting and saying good-bye to members and guests.
