Custodial Supervisor - Minot - Crescent - Full-time / Part-time

Description:
● Performs the following tasks at a grocery store whose primary function is that of the resale of merchandise in a retail environment.
● Ensures grocery store working areas and washrooms are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion; ensure all custodial line staff follow all Company safety procedures; provide training as needed.
● Lead daily activities of custodial line staff.
● Maintains custodial operations by initiating and coordinating program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
● Duties involve a combination of the following: sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, and polishing floors; removing chips, trash, and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; providing supplies and minor maintenance services; and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms.
● Accomplishes operational human resource objectives by training, assigning, scheduling, and counseling employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and appraising job results; enforcing policies and procedures.
● Provide on-going monitoring to ensure that custodial functions are performed accurately and efficiently; assist in these processes as needed; provide training as needed.
● Performs manual labor tasks by assisting line staff with normal daily activities
● Liaise between subordinate staff and management to ensure organizational goals and objectives are effectively communicated and met.
● May be called upon to offer customer or patron assistance with the location or selection of merchandise.
● The company is classified as a federal contractor.
