Job Related Duties: The Customer Service Representative reports to the Customer Service Manager and his/her responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
● Providing effective customer service for all internal and external JJ Powell customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as team members within the Customer Service Department.
● Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customers about order status and product knowledge requests.
● Work with customers to resolve disputes regarding billing and credit issues.
● Provide timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns.
● Partner with customer service team and sales department to meet and exceed customer's service expectations.
● Processing new client accounts, maintaining customer accounts, implementing changes to existing accounts, and filing documents and other paperwork.
● Resolve customer complaints via phone, email, mail, or social media.
● Use telephones to reach out to customers and verify account information.
● Greet customers warmly and ascertain problem or reason for calling.
● Cancel or upgrade accounts.
● Assist with placement or cancellation of orders.
● Advise on company information.
● Take payment information and other pertinent information such as addresses and phone numbers.
● Answer questions about terms of sales and services.
● Attempt to persuade customers to reconsider cancellation.
● Inform customer of deals and promotions.
● Sell products and services.
● Utilize computer technology to handle high call volumes.
● Work with customer service manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered.
● Make 30 outbound calls daily for scheduling BTU.
● Ability to participate in the on-call scheduling as business needs dictate.
● Ability to participate and attend local county fairs as scheduled to represent JJ Powell and provide information to potential customers/clients about products and services the company offers.
