REQUIREMENTS:
- Min. 3 years’ experience with industrial / plant electrician work
- Thorough background/experience with PLC's
- Experience with maintenance & repair, preventive maintenance., troubleshooting, diagnostics, etc.
- Very high safety-first mindset
- Able to work well independently, and within a team structure
RESPONSIBILITIES – Help keep plant production equipment in peak operating condition:
- Perform hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting and repair work
- Perform welding and cutting operations associated with equipment maintenance and repair
- Be conscious of the cost and/or production impact of downtime on any of the machinery and equipment.
- Display a sense of urgency in performing the maintenance function, particularly during production hours.
- Provide accurate and timely information feedback about production machinery and equipment to your supervisor.
- Concentrate on improving skills to trouble shoot to make this one of the primary areas of personal skills.
- Wear all safety equipment required.
- Practice good safety and housekeeping habits.
- Perform PM's and work order tasks
