POSITION PURPOSE -
The IT Developer 2 demonstrates proficient knowledge of multiple programming languages, technologies and business acumen. Ability to execute and guide work on multiple projects. Possesses the ability to gather, interpret and document business requirements as well as develop the technical design for an application. Can effectively leverage EAI, Database and Data Modeling in design of systems for use in a production environment. Demonstrates thorough understanding of life cycle development through production implementation and post implementation. Ability to provide input on the strategic view of applications and how they fit into the whole retail space.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -
100% Execute and guide work on multiple projects.
NATURE AND SCOPE -
Postition reports to the Manager, Information Services No direct responsibility for supervising others. EDUCATION REQUIRED -
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree.
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS -
2-5 years related experience in coding and programming Java.
Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate is a plus.
Agile XP is a plus.
Retail/business experience a plus.
BS Computer Science or related field.
