About this job

Responsibilities:
  • The Sr. Analyst will focus on the implementation, and participate in the development of inventory lifecycle and clearance strategies.
  • Primary responsibilities include: executing and communicating item price changes, preparing reporting on clearance items and performance, working with manager and merchants to identify new clearance items, monitoring and ensuring accuracy of pricing, inventory, and profit margins of discontinued items, among other activities.
  • Successful candidates will have strong attention to detail and experience managing or manipulating large amounts of detailed data.
  • 4 or more years of high volume retail operations.
  • Solid systems and technical skills: medium to proficient Excel, Word, and Power Point are required. Ability to learn, interface with, and understand all retail systems.
  • Knowledge or experience with retail management systems or item control platforms is preferred. Some knowledge of basic SQL is a plus.
  • Strong emphasis on operating procedures and a strong understanding of systems, processes, and customer service.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management in both the corporate environment and the field.
  • Must have excellent writing and communication skills.

Overall knowledge and understanding of Store Operations and in-store processes as well as Service Sales and Operations, including Merchandising, Marketing, and Service Delivery Systems is a plus.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 3 years experience

• Prefer business or financial, analytical experience
• Retail and pricing strategies experience preferred
• Strong data management skills
• Project leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent initiatives that have significant financial impact
• Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to understand and develop strategy
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize facts and insights into concrete, actionable recommendation
Good communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
• Results driven, with a desire to work in a fast paced environment
Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills required, familiarity with Access a plus
