General Maintenance Associate - 2nd Shift

• Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on Distribution Center equipment, machinery, electrical systems, and support equipment.
• Maintains, changes and charges batteries for powered equipment to ensure efficient workflow.
• Operates floor sweeper / scrubber to maintain facility floor.
• Paints, plasters, and performs building maintenance functions including plumbing and carpentry to maintain facility.
• Completes minor and routine maintenance such as changing light bulbs, replacing filters, install and repair office fixtures and other building related maintenance.
• Assists with preventative maintenance to ensure proper operation of Distribution Center equipment.
• Performs scheduled and preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery, electrical systems, and structures using blueprints, diagrams, manuals, and written instructions.
• Performs maintenance and repairs adhering to all safety guidelines.
• Ability to use tools and equipment including licensed company truck, snow plow, and lawn care equipment.

• 1 - 3 years general warehouse mechanics experience; Distribution Center experience preferred.
• Knowledge of WMS Manhattan, PKMS, and/or Dematic preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, and oral language skills.
• Proficient with basic hand and power tools.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing and general building maintenance.
• Able to understand written and oral instructions.
• Ability to lift merchandise, parts, and tools up to 50 lbs. and to work in elevated areas.
• Repetitive bending, stooping, crawling, stretching, climbing, and lifting.
